What is a Holistic Business Strategist

Working in sales for over 15 years for multiple companies across different sectors in the UK exposed me to different companies, people, products and services along with all their internal processes.

We all interact with Human Resources when applying or leaving a job then we go on to meet Management.
Once you are in your new role you are met with the day to day challenges faced by all businesses whether that be finding new or retaining your existing customers, learning about the competition and setting up payment terms.

Sound familiar ?

What I quickly learned from all my Sales Roles combined is that it doesn't matter what the product or service is it all comes down to the same company processes. In order for any company to sustainably grow and thrive in their industry these are critical.

Within my different roles I was fortunate enough to engage and network with Directors and Managers within large multi million pound companies to understand their frustrations as well as the cleaners and receptionists.
They all taught me that Job Satisfaction and Recognition whether that be monetary or a simple "job well done" goes along way.

When you start a new company you are able to manage and closely monitor most aspects of the business but over time as you grow and expand you soon find that you are being  pulled in different directions and before you know it you have lost touch. 

Having to establish and pin point what isn't working within your organisation can take time and cost money to ensure you don't lose momentum and market share.


That is where I come in because the reality is all the staff within your company have roles assigned to them as experts in their individual field and will probably agree that making sure the left hand is talking to the right hand across departments just isn't high on their daily agenda.

Your finance team will be focused on exactly that and your Human Resources Team will be reactive to staff needs as and when they arise but most importantly of course you Sales team will be out selling .

Not forgetting Marketing who will be working on your next launch or promotion.

You as a company Owner or Director rely solely on the feedback your Management team and staff give when the numbers aren't where they need to be and profits are down.

But have you ever stopped to consider that everybody is doing the best they can with what they have but are missing one ingredient?

That ingredient is the thread that connects them all together which is a Holistic Business Strategist because every role is intrinsically linked to each other and when one is off balance it has a knock on effect within the rest of the business.


My role involves a balanced assessment of the company as a whole which includes the people and processes along with your customers and the market to understand how they all work together in tandem with an unbiased approach or opinion.

Sometimes it can be something as small as the office decor which is impacting the staff moral or the lack of engagement between management that is causing unnecessary office politics.


Current processes and systems might need to be adjusted as they aren't aligned with your growing company demands and could  be hindering your progress.

No matter how big or small your current turnover is my role is to look at your business and assess the people, processes and numbers collectively.

The key advantage I offer you is a sales background that enables me to work under pressure whilst multi tasking with one objective in mind which is utilising the  information collated to get you the desired results when I am finished of increasing profits.
